Portrait of Richard Goldman

Richard Goldman is the co-manager and co-founder of Oakhurst Real Estate Advisors, LLC, and a principal in Oakhurst Advisors, LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisory firm with over $600 million in assets under management through capital invested in other real estate-related funds, as well as direct and indirect investments in real estate and debt secured by real estate.

He is the chief executive officer of R&R Realty Advisors, Inc., the sponsor of three TJC Real Estate Funds and two affiliated lender funds. The TJC Real Estate Funds have raised approximately $60 million (approximately $37.5 million in equity and $22.5 million in debt) to fund a low leverage housing development program in Southern California. He is also the co-chief executive officer of the Paladin Funds and has served in that capacity since 2011. The Paladin entities were formed in 2010 to invest in the acquisition of defaulted residential mortgages and convert them into performing loans, of which the Paladin Funds have since acquired over 230 mortgages in twenty states.

Prior to joining the Paladin Funds, Mr. Goldman was the president and CEO of a family office with close to $1 billion in assets, and supervised the real estate department at an investment fund which purchased and managed in excess of $250,000,000 of commercial property, including multi-family, industrial, retail, and office space. Before pursuing a career in investment management, Mr. Goldman practiced real estate law at the law firm of Goldman & Kagon. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa and acquired his law degree from the University of Southern California. Richard is also a member of The State Bar of California.
